Horse Riding Centres & Trekking
Throughout the valleys of Neath Port Talbot there are
routes to suit the absolute novice as well as more challenging
paths for more competent riders.

Centres
There are purpose-built centres, ideal for beginners taking
their first lessons, and professionally-led treks through the heart
of the countryside. Some cater for family riding holidays, with
cosy log cabins and award-winning guesthouses.

Afan Forest Park: For trail information and
permits to ride in Afan Forest Park, contact the Afan Forest Park
Centre in advance of your journey on 01639 850564, alternatively

Routes can be ridden in either direction, they are marked with
blue arrows with a horse shoe symbol in them. You are advised to
take an OS sheet 170 with you and a compass. Wet weather clothing
is also advised.
