National Trust Aberdulais Tin Works and Waterfall
A beautiful spot for getting to grips with the history of the
Vale of Neath and home of the UK’s largest electricity-generating
water wheel, Aberdulais waterfall played an evident role in the
industrialisation era.
With the raw mechanics of early industry on presentation plus a
‘tin man’ exhibition you will learn all about the important
industrial heritage of this National Trust site. The waterfall is
magnificent and to see it functioning to produce ‘green’ energy is
even more impressive.
The Aberdulais Tin Works and Waterfall site is also
home to Neath Port Talbot's Tourist Information Centre.
Access: Accessible to disabled
visitors. A lift provides access through the turbine house and
scissor lift provides views above the waterfall.
