With lots of team and individual sports to watch all year round, the options in Neath Port Talbot range from major to minor to slightly mad!

Aberavon RFC

Aberavon RFC was founded in 1876 and moved to its present home, the Talbot Athletic Ground, in 1907.  The side was christened "The Wizards of the West" by a journalist in reaction to the brilliant back play of the 1920's. The well-known red and black hoops were adopted during the 1950’s and the wizard emblem soon followed.

The Wizards are a member club of the Welsh Rugby Union, and competes in the Principality Welsh Premiership, the British & Irish Cup and the SWALEC Cup.  For fixtures and more information please visit the Aberavon Wizards website.

Neath RFC

Neath was founded in 1871, a founder member of the Welsh Rugby Union.  They play at the famous Gnoll ground in Neath, sharing it with the South Wales Scorpions Rugby League side.  The club's nickname, 'The Welsh All Blacks', comes from their iconic strip of black jersey, shorts and socks with a white cross pattée.

Neath currently play in Principality Welsh Premiership, the British & Irish Cup and the SWALEC Cup.  For fixtures and more information please visit the Neath RFC website.
