which meanders along the valley floor.
In Afan you will find mountain bike trails for all abilities
and great facilities to match. At Glyncorrwg Mountain Bike Centre
and Afan Forest Park Visitor Centre
there are excellent facilities including café’s, bike shops, campsites and lots of information about the mountain bike trails.
The ‘Rookie’ trail
is designed for children (and grown-ups who are just starting out) to master their mountain bike skills. Afan is also home to several mountain bike coaches
who will be able to assist even the biggest mountain bike enthusiast with improving their experience of the Afan trails.

in Afan are due to be relaunched during 2018, watch this space for more information on the new and improved walking trails. South Wales Miners’ Museum
pays homage to the history of the valley. At the museum you will be immersed in south Wales’ mining heritage and will even come face to face with people who worked down the mines during the valley’s industrial heyday.
Afan Forest Park is also the birthplace of Hollywood acting legend Richard Burton, you can walk in his footsteps on the Richard Burton Walking Trails
where you can see some of the landscapes and locations that helped shape his talent.
